I saw several robins Saturday, March 3 in Makanda, Ill. These were the first robins I have seen this season, I don't recall them
singing. There were at least a dozen but could have been more. I was just
made aware of your interest yesterday and recalled seeing these robins in the
neighbor's yard so I thought I would report. I have a pair of mallards on
mu pond since yesterday and several days ago saw a pair of wood ducks.
