A small monarch was sighted in our schoolyard in Stone Mountain, GA, during afternoon carpool time. It seemed so small, but on further inspection, it had monarch markings. The weather has warmed after a weekend storm, so the butterflies seem to be coming out more.
msn.com is reporting today (3/9/01) that possible spraying of chemicals in Mexico may have killed millions of monarchs -
