I can report our first yard robin of the year
last Wed morning (3/7). It was quite cold - around 10 degrees F - and he
(surely the females have more sense...) didn't sound all that happy to be
here. He was quite agitated, almost as if he was returning from a winter
vacation only to find that his furnace kicked the bucket several days ago.
