Our first robins of the season were observed after a storm went through our area this past weekend. I have also heard a report of 300 or so robins overwintereing in NW Iowa near the Hannibal Waterman Wildlife Area in O'Brien COunty. 200 Bluebirds were also overwintereing in that area. That report comes from a seasoned bird watcher in that part of the state. A few flocks of robins have been reported in Iowa City Iowa throughout the winter as well.
