"Today our kindergarten class went for a walk to look for signs of spring. We found worms, centipedes, slugs, and tiny white eggs underneath the big tree stumps arund our garden. In the garden we saw three yellow crocus. We heard birds singing in the trees.
We saw buds on the mulberry bushes and buds on the daffodil stems.
We saw crocus in other places blooming too. Tulip leaves have come up. There are buds on the dogwood trees. We did not see any butterflies today."
