Sunday, March 11 we saw the first Canada Geese of the year down near the village of Victoria by the Sea on the ice near the causeway. Since that time we have seen more geese in the fields which are completely snow covered. However the geese are eating well, feeding on potatoes diverted by the closure of the American market that have been spread to freeze on the fields.
