American Robins, Red-winged Blackbirds, Common
Grackles and Song Sparrows were everywhere in good numbers. Most of the ponds
were still 95% OR MORE frozen, but the typical species were starting to
appear in even the smallest openings in the ice or along narrow unfrozen
edges.
