Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 03/20/2001

Number: 1

Greetings from Miami. Our Butterfly Garden was full of Monarch caterpillars on March 16,2001. They have been eating steadly and growing. Almost all of our milkweed has been devoured and only the stems remain. We counted at least 15 on some of the branches. As reported before a member of our thrid generation seemed to flutter around the garden. It is exciting watching the fourth generation.
