Students on the "Green Team" from Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School in New London, CT. observed our 72 of our 110 bulbs, emerging - on the very first day of spring!
The average height of the tulips was 2.4cm. The weather has been wet this winter, and quite cold. On the day our obsevations were made it was clear,breezy,and sunny. The temperature was, 45 degrees F/10 degees C. We predict that our bulbs will blossom, between May 15-20th.
