Our yard seems to be filled with goldfinches most of the year. So, one of the most exciting signs of Spring, to me, is when I start to see some of those bright yellow feathers popping out here and there on their little bodies. It is a cheery sight. Even though there is still snow on the ground, I know that sunny, warm days are on the way as I watch the goldfinches, little by little, turn bright yellow.
