Wow- the maple sap is running very well this week and we are tapping the maple forest beside my portable....and this morning, one of the grade six students found the most incredible sign of spring....just as the snow is finally melting from around the base of the trees, Joseph found a maple key with a sprout growing out of it!! We are going to pot it up and it will be our official Journey North maple tree for 01!!! Spring must truly be here!
