The first male Rufous Hummingbird showed up at my feeder at 11:25 a.m. I have been watching the feeder closely and have had it out for three weeks. I changed the food and hung it back out and the male immediately visited the feeder.

I have been putting out several feeders (quart size) for approximately 15 years and wait patiently for their return each year.
