Most robins seen still seem to be migrants that stay in groups, in city parks and area forest preserves, feeding and acting like they are still on their way farther north. I had about 15 at Humboldt Park in Chicago feeding together in a wooded area and only 2 birds singing in separate areas that might be their territory.
