Today we finally saw the tips of our Red Emperor tulips emerge. We were interested to see that the small plot of tulips that we marked from last year's plantings are also up but much larger. They actually emerged a week earlier. We're trying to figure out why the older bulbs emerged sooner. Is this typical? Thanks, Mrs. Gurney's class at West Patent Elementary School.
