Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 03/29/2001

Number: 1

This morning, about 7 or 8 robins were foraging along the cedar hedge in back where the snow has melted back and exposed the ground. Although there have been flocks of wintering over robins reported in some places of VT this winter, I think these are returnees from further south passing through on their way north. It was a real pleasure to see them, since we still have a foot and a half of snow on the ground in most places!
