Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 01/01/2001

Number: 1

Here on the Upper Texas coast I don't think we were ever without Monarchs
this winter. We encountered several large groups of monarchs during area
CBC's in late December and early January. I would see occasional Monarchs
during January and February. By early March their numbers were increasing
rapidly. I would say they were common in Late December, hard to find, but
still present from mid January - February and common again by the first of
March.
