The first flock of swallows was reported at the Trenton Air Base on Thursday, March 29, 2001. The bird-man at the airbase (he's the guy who looks after the peregrine falcons, hawks, and owls which are used to help control the bird population on the air field) reported to our cub group that he had seen his first swallows in the morning. We will wait for their arrival in Marmora which is about 40 km north of Trenton.
