A pair of robins that nest in a maple tree are back. the old nest blew down this winter.today they are looking for it and singing. trees show no sign of budding. we still have lots of snow. yesterday they were under the pines looking for worms. they nested for 7yrs on our back light. we kept taking down the nest before they finished because of fire hazard. they still kept rebuilding. finally we gave up and just stopped using the light. once they raise their young we have our light back, its really neat. two years ago we built an addition and moved the light. they went into the maple tree and are back for 3rd yr.
