This is, I believe, the first spring sighting in my back yard. I have been checking for eggs on milkweed, but haven't found any.
This was a faded female, but looked healthy, and untagged. She was busy laying so I decided not to net her for measurements. This seems much later than sightings last year. She was a wonderful sight.
