On April 1st we saw one monarch fly through our yard about chest high and he or she was in a big hurry. It flew in a straight until it went out of sight and was heading north east. The bright colors and the healthy wings made up it appear to be a fresh hatch.We live between Pensacola Fla. and orange beach ala. about 2 miles north of the Gulf of Mexico.
