After seeing 3 fly-by Common
Loons I thought it would be a good idea to check some of the nearby
lakes. They are finally thawed out.
There were 2 Loons on West Loon Lake, 2 Loons on Deep Lake, and 26 Loons
on Long Lake. I drove around all of Long Lake & obtained some great
views of them. Many of them were eating large fish, and one bird was
bathing and playing around in the water with all sorts of upside down and
sideways acrobatics. (Dickinson County)
