Watched a pair of robins engaged in nest building today. Seems pretty early. We have no leaves on our trees, yet, so the robins are forced to use evergreens or sites on buildings. This nest doesn't stand much of a chance, since they chose a low hanging evergreen branch and were attempting to build something at the very tip! Now we are having rain and extremely strong winds, so I expect they will be forced to start over---hopefully in a better location.
