A couple of minutes ago, we saw our first hummer!! I'm so excited!! We put up the feeder a few days ago, reading on Journey North that another person in Simpsonville (a town about 8 miles from here)had seen a hummer. This evening, we had our first visitor, a male ruby-throated!! A couple of days ago, we heard chittering in trees nearby and thought it might be the hummers.
