Hi Don

The only COMMON LOON I've had so far was one calling over the east end of Amherst Island on April 4. The ice has just gone out today in the Bay of Quinte between Amherst and the mainland so we should be getting more from now on.

My first sightings for the 6 previous years are: March 9, March 30, April 3, April 9, April 1 and April 15. Average date of return for Kingston is listed as April 3 so this is pretty typical.
