Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

At Brazos Bend State Park about 1 hour south of Houston, a naturalist and I saw Swamp Milkweed in Creekfield Lake last Saturday. The Milkweed is blooming, and we found 4 small larvae on the plants, they were monarch larvae. One larvae was about
1/2 inch long, the others were about 1/8 inch.
