My husband spotted the first hummingbird at the back flowering quince bush. We spotted only one so far and I put up two feeders, one in the back and another in the front of the house( I have about 15 feeders that I put up around the yard for them as the numbers increse to around 75 during the summer). It is always a pleasure to see them return.
I also had the first indigo bunting appear yesterday, unfortunately he ran into the liveingroom window but appears to be ok as he was at the backyard feeders this afternoon.
