Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/10/2001

Number: 1

We are very exited becaue our class is raising monarch caterpillars!!! We have done this twice before and once we even got a very small egg. Last year they came out at a perfect time!We got to see about 5 monarchs emerge in 30 minutes. We loved it! At our school in May and August you can step outside and see their fluttering presence. Once at my house I caught one and it went onto my nose!It tickled like crazy!
