I saw a big nest and a bald eagle with three small babys. The mother was oviosly protecting her young. I did not get to close but they were in a big tree right out side of Columbia. The mother sat on a long branch next to the nest that had the babys in it. I saw it on April 7th and the 8th of 2001. The first sighting was at about 7:00 a.m. and the second sighting was at about 8:00 p.m.
