Saw Monarch, nectering on Astragulas crassicarpus(Ground Plum) 06/04/01. Location: 25-40 ft. off roadside in unpopulated area.
Other wildflowers in bloom were Lindheimera texana (Texas Yellow Star), Senecio sp. and Sisyrinchium pruinosum(Blue-eyed Grass) and Verbena bipinnatifida(Prairie Verbena.
No milkweed in immediate area, but sited milkweed approx. 1 mile away.
