New arrivals at Lower Lake. Common Loon - 1 flew right over the observation platform about 60 ft. up. I heard the familiar locator call as it landed in open water below the Lower Lake dam, out of sight. Since Lower Lake is still mostly frozen solid there is no place for it to land there. I could not discern if there was more than one bird.
