Today I travelled from South Melville, PEI to Sydney ,NS. Throughout the trip I observed large numbers of Robins. The snow cover was still approximately 75 to 80% in most places but there were robins where there was any bare ground - particularly if the grass was short. In some locations there were up to 100+ Robins in some fields, especially around Aulac, NB and Antigonish, NS.
I also saw a immature Bald Eagle, 2 Killdeer and a Kestral in nothern NS as well as the usual crows, jays and gulls.
