Today we checked in our school garden for milkweed and found 20 plants had emerged! Last week when we checked there was no sign at all of our plants. One plant is 20" tall already. The others are either just peeking out of the ground or are 2-3" tall. Last week our temperature was in high 80's every day. There were major thunderstorms over the weekend, with temps. falling into the 40's for highs and below freezing for lows. We expect to be back in the 70's in a couple of days.
