After a cold March, everything in nature has been catching up
with three weeks of hot weather in April. The early corn is
hip pocket high and the cotton if four inches tall. We think
our spring monarch migration is almost over ... it was a very
slim year. Where we saw a dozen monarchs the last two years,
we were lucky to see one or two this year. What we are seeing
now are next generation "fresh" monarchs that are starting north.
