Today our Butterfly Garden received a real lift. A parent and gardener coordinated a Parent Association effort to clean up the garden and prepare the beds for more plants. Next week, kids will plant seeds under growlights in the classroom. When they are ready, they will plant them in the garden too. Meanwhile, we're designing watering holes for the butterflies and a walking path to reach the plants more safely. Thanks for all your encouragement. The kids are learning about plant and animal life cycles and beautifying our school, too. Now if we could only get our milkweed to grow!
