Not sure weather these are Monarchs or not. They appear to be smaller and of a dimmer orange. They are passing through Oceanside, Calif and have been spotted approx. 10 miles to the East all heading due North. They have been passing through observed for the last couple of hours (time currently 12 noon) by the, should I say thousands? Let's put it this way...your windsheild would be covered very quickly if you were going against them.
