All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 04/23/2001

Number: 1

Beginning on April 23 (Monday), 2001 and through today - April 25 (Wednesday), 2001, we have observed sporadic passage of a great number of Monarch butterflies in streams many miles in length. Our home is located near the Cajon High School(latitude & longitude given). Today's sighting was the greatest in number, and was at the mouth of Lytle Creek Canyon, about five miles northwest of our home. Looking through the flight of butterflies actually decreased visibility of geologic features on the other side of the butterflies.
