Our hummingbird feeders were set out on April 5th. Today I saw our first "hummer" of the season. It was a male, followed shortly thereafter by a female. We experienced an extremely windy day yesterday, with a temperature drop from the 80's in the early afternoon to the 40's by last evening. Today's high was in the low 60's, and tonight's low is expected to be in the 40's. The birds did not appear to have a lot of spunk --
