Students at Texas Military Institute monitored our hill of milkweed today-4/26/01.

At 8:15 with 50dF and clear skies, we set out to find some A. asperula, and monitor it.

We found a total of 31 plants, with and avg height of 18.774cm, the avg. no. of branches was 1.8, 9.677% had buds, 12.903% had flowers, 0% had seed pods, 16.129% had some form of invertebrate, excluding larvae; none had monarch larvae. 3.226% of the plants were 81-100% yellowed or dying, and 3.226% of plants were 5-40% yellowed or dying. 12.90% of the plants had <5% herbivory or disease.
