I heard two hummingbirds on April 21st but never saw them. I live at an altitude of 8,650 feet in the Rocky Mountains. We had a 13 inches of snow on April the 22nd. I was worried about the little guys so I hung two feeder out for them. I never spotted or heard them again. Then tonight we had one ruby throated hummer land on our feeder and take about a 5 minute drink of our sugar water. Last year we had about 10 different birds stay with us over the summer.
