Tulips BLOOMED

Date: 04/26/2001

Number: 1

It was a beautiful, sunny day and our tulips were in full bloom. We have an interesting observation and wonder if anyone might have an answer for us. The stems on our tulips are very, very short. It almost appears as if the tulips are growing right out of the leaves. All of our other tulips from past years have much longer stems. Why are these stems so short?
