I had come across your hummingbird migration update of April 26, 2001 last week and notified my sister in Wisconsin that the hummingbirds were coming her way! I decided to put my feeder up even though I've never been lucky enough to have them show up in the spring at feeder; only in the fall. This evening about 7 o'clock my husband came in and said he'd seen a hummer at the feeder. I sat outdoors for a while & lo & behold a male ruby throat appeared. It made my day! Hopefully he decides to stay. I decided I just had to report my sighting.
