Up here in Toronto, we know spring has arrived when the flowering shrubs come into bloom. We are on the far eastern edge of what is known as "Carolinean Canada". Right now, forsythia shrubs and magnolias are in bloom. Also, the time has come to give our lawns their first cutting.
