Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/16/2001

Number: 1

Got about 1 1/2 feet of snow. The next week it got very warm. Alot of the snow melted. About 1-2 weeks later the tulips emerged. It has been sunny with very good weather. Tulips have gotten good amount of water because they are planted on a slope with a lot of sun. They are also in very fertile soil. We figured that they would die because we had such an abundance of snow. We planted 50 red emperors that are an average of 14.5-15. They are growing fast. Some are ready to bloom.
