Tulips EMERGED

Date: 04/19/2001

Number: 1

Mrs. Allen's second grade class is watching their tulips emerge from the ground. We planted them last fall. They emerged on April 19, 2001. Mrs. Allen sprinkled ivory soap around the tulips so preditors won't eat the tulips. We report that there are less tulips on the right side of the garden than on the left. The tulips are trapping water in their leaves. Other classes are putting their tulips under trees. When our tulips bloom we are going to cut one in half to see inside the tulip.
