Our students saw 2 adult monarchs during gym class yesterday! We are a approxiamtely 40 degrees north latitude, so we fit right into the pattern of when the next wave of adults should be seen. It is amazing that middle school aged children could get so excited about butterflies. The announcement of the sighting spread throughout the building. This happened at around the same time that we received our symbolic migration packages. What a validation of what we have been talking about!!!!!!!!
