Hummingbird, Rufous (FIRST)

Date: 05/01/2001

Number: 1

We actually could hear the hummingbird on April 29, 2001,so put up the feeder, however the birds did not visit the feeder until May 1, 2001. So have now changed the liquid. Have at least, a male and a female, broadtail, don't think they are Rufus. The female is certainly to big. We have had a very large snow storm last night, May 2, but the hummers are here and feeding this morning, May 3, so have weathered the storm very well.
