I volunteer at the Virginia Tech Research Station in Norfolk, Virginia in the butterfly garden. I was there all morning on 5/3/01 and noticed no monarch butterflies, their egges or caterpillers. We have many different types of milk weed present in the garden. My next time will be on 5/10/01.

I also have different types of milkweed in my garden in Virginia Beach and have not seen any butterflies, eggs or caterpillers there either.
