Our tulips began to emerge on April 9. However, it has been a rather slow growth process this year. At first only a few came up, but over a period of about three weeks 17 finally emerged. Spring came late this year, so we're wondering if this might have affected them. The two adjacent beds from previous years were well ahead of our newly planted one, however.
