We have finally seen our first Monarch butterflies. Trey, Charlie, and Taylor all saw one or two Monarchs at various locations around Anniston this past weekend. On a return trip from Franklin, Tennessee, I saw about six brightly colored Monarchs heading north as I traveled south on I-65 just north of the Alabama-Tennessee border. This is the fewest Monarchs we have ever seen since we started reporting to Journey North.
