About 8 p.m. (temp. approx. 73 degrees) I saw MY FIRST MONARCH OF THE SEASON fly past, then back, then all around us for about 15 minutes. I was with my two little friends (ages 8 and 5) who rear Monarchs with me all summer, so we were all ecstatic!
